He's behind Jordan and Wade, at a minimum.
He desperately needs some elite playoff success.

Did you know hardwn this year has the most points scored per 100 possession Ever.
He has fewer games with less than 25 points Than he does 50 point games.
Frankly it is the most impressive scoring season in nba history. That’s why you have so many coming out and saying that he is GOAT offensive player.

I'm excited to see what he does in the post season.

He’ll just go 5/30 instead of 12/30.

To answer OP's questions:
1)Yes, there is.
2) Yes, there is.
and
3) Yes, there is.
What I am prepared to say, is that he has had a better career than Steve Nash on the Pyramid of Basketball Greateness. No more, no less.

This may not be a bad thread to put hardwns current career rankings. And then we can reflect back in a couple years.
VORP - 24
OBPM - 4
BPM - 8
WS/48 - 9
Off rating - 18
PER - 13
Pretty obvious he gets that finals MVP and he enters top 15 territory. Bc the metrics will only get better for the next 4-5 years.

Not if he plays until he's 37.
ETA - when you're comparing career numbers, it's only fair to consider the back end fluff.

His career PER is still lower than his PER has been each of the last 5 years. So he will be well above his career average for the next 4 years. By year 5 I can see his career PER being up to 26 point Something and him being at 26. His career metrics will get a lot better than they are now over the next few.

Until he gets a ring I have him 4th behind
MJ
Kobe
Dwade
All due to playoff performance. Dwade was a straight fricking monster in the NBA Finals.

Harden in the best scorer in the league since Kobe. “Scorer”. Only other I can see is Curry.
