Jameis seems very intelligent. He also seems more of a natural born leader than Luck. However, Luck seems to have that even keel nature that you see in a lot of elite qbs. It will be interesting to see Jameis as he goes forward. Sky is the limit for him.

I love these threads. Someone remember to bookmark this and bump it in 2 or 3 years so we can compare apples to oranges again.

I wasn't talking about smarts or IQ. I was talking about the ability to read defenses and make changes at the LOS. There is no college QB that has done that as well as Luck did imo.

Why are people getting so tweaked over this? Winston looks like an amazing player.

Is this what people resort to when they have nothing better to say?

ETA: I just realized you took 7 pages of abuse for being a fricking idiot (justified). I will excuse your cuntyness.

I don't think it's fair to compare what Winston's doing right now in college to what Luck has done so far in the NFL. What kind of mess is that?! That's an apples to oranges argument if there ever was one. Now, I do think it's fair to compare where Luck was at this point as a first year starter to where Winston is right now.

Not much else to talk about.

Maybe we could discuss who should play in the game when UO, bama, FSU, and Ohio state all end up undefeated.

I think FSU and Bama are the two most talented but ACC schedule will do in FSU.

I have plenty to say. Did you bother to even read the thread? I've defended Winston, luck has been defended. It's rather obvious that we will have to wait a few years to reach a conclusion on this.

You act like speculation is impermissible. Do you have anything of value to add to the thread?

Luck has an architecture design degree from Stanford... I'm sure Jameis is a smart guy, but to pull that off AND play football at the BCS level is nothing short of amazing, imo.

I think Winston looks better right now than Manuel does. Right now.

I wish the FSU guys were online.

Intelligence and IQ have nothing to do with reading defenses? Ok...

You started a thread comparing a freshman QB to the highest rated QB in recent history. I'm sure this thread is full of value.

Of course, because Jameis could NEVER be as smart as Andrew Luck!
