you could pass on a QB that you are pretty sure isn't the answer, and build at other positions while waiting for the opportunity to get a good QB instead of wasting that pick.

Exactly.

Hurts is serviceable. They just need to bide their time until they get a good option.

Like, if they can use those 3, 1sts and Hurts to get Wilson, Rodgers, or Watson? Leggo.

So draft another QB with accuracy issues?

There are guys in college who aren't good but they get a ton of hype because the media wants them to be good. The N.F.L. GMs still buy into these guys year after year. Hurts was one of the greatest examples of those players.

I've always been amazed people thought Hurts would be a NFL QB.

Bradshaw kicked him in the balls and went savage but the comments were spot on for what we saw today!

The biggest value of Hurts is his contract - a 2nd round pick as your QB is like a cheat code for a GM.

If you think he can improve, you hold on to him and blow your load in the offseason with proven talent to build around him.

Exactly. He's a great option for a rebuilt. They get to see if he improves and if not, they don't have much invested in him.

Jalen Hurts

He could have a great career as a solid back up. He play 15 years and never get beat up and make a ton of easy money, there are worst things in the world.

Lamar Jackson is a perfect example of this. All flash and no substance.

His ball comes out way too late for the NFL

His biggest problem from what I’ve seen. He could be decent if he’d be more decisive, but his long throwing motion would keep him from being great. His wind-up reminds me of Jordan Jefferson’s.
