Not when he can box guys with zero boxing experience and still make a ton of money through PPV and advertising. I think Jake Paul is a douche of the highest order, but he has managed to be business savvy enough to turn a love of boxing into a money machine.

Cormier has already said he won't "punch down" to entertain any bullshite Jake Paul rumors.
The quote was something to the effect of: "I'm a two time UFC champion. I don't mess with childsplay."
Even if Cormier did take the fight, he would probably have to cut to around 200lbs...which he ain't doing.
Akren also only got $500K and ZERO ppv backend return. Askren said himself that he tried to ask for ppv points and they basically told him that wouldn't happen and if he didn't want the deal on the table, then they'd move on to another fighter.
DC also would not entertain that bullshite either.
Cormier also ain't Akren. He can actually throw punches with skill. Dude KO'd fricking Stipe. It wouldn't last 1 round.

Paul will never fight a legit boxer. He’s a clown however a rich clown so who am I to judge?
