Ivy League expected to announce today its moving football season to spring. However, sources told @Stadium don’t expect FBS to automatically make same decision. Source: “Doubt Ivies have much influence (w/FBS schools). They aren’t as vulnerable financially."

Spring football is not the move. Messes up so much with scheduling for the draft and everything.

This is purely political. These schools are hoping for a new president in November.

I would say football brings in a pretty good chunk of change. Harvard brought in 2.5 M in revenue last year. Now, that’s going out to build better facilities for the athletes; so, maybe they will just use their endowment?

And the virus will still be here in the spring. Not sure what this move accomplishes.

Considering there won't be a new president in the spring, nothing.
