Honesty, I don’t think money matters that much. He wants to go to the NFL

They’re definitely the two best jobs, if the Bears whack Flus. I’ll give the nod to the Bears though.

First pick, younger & better roster, cap flexibility, actual real fanbase, legacy etc

LA gets Herbert and weather win.

Is it because of the shite show that CFB has turned into?

Yes, yes they do. I was just checking out old pictures of him in his Bears playing days. He looks good in Bears blue and orange and I’d welcome him home.

He already has an offer to be the highest paid college coach doesn't he? 12.5/year iirc

Also he could have greater personnel power or dictate who he wants his GM to be with the Chargers.

With Bears he'd be married to Pace. Not necessarily sure that's a bad thing but I assume JH would prefer to pick his own GM.

I don't think Spanos would balk at a record setting coach salary. Coaches are the best bang for the buck in all of sports if you know you're getting a good one.

Well seeing as how Ryan Poles is the Bears GM, Ryan Pace shouldn’t be a problem

I recall reading that prior to going to Michigan Harbaugh said the most enjoyable stint in his coaching career was when he coached USD. Who wouldn't love living and coaching minutes from the beach?

Has he said that or are other people saying that? He’s a Michigan man
