Its time for Vandy to leave the SEC.

They are pathetic to watch. Not only are their football seasons usually abysmal, their performance in conference games is even worse. Haven't had a decent season since 2012 and before that, 2008. But other than that, just a long history of consistent losing. I know they are a founding member, but its time to call it quits.

95% of their football crowds are the other teams' fans. It's pathetic, and they won't build a new stadium either

Only problem is they can’t join another P5 so they pretty much have to stay

They won 6 games last year (3 over Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Arkansas).

I do think there should be some requirement to invest in your football program if you're getting payouts from the conference.

That being said, somebody has to the doormat, might as well be Vandy. They’ve had some decent basketball teams and good baseball teams over the past 2-3 decades, as well
