2019 2-1 (to date)
dude is 40-13 and you want to fire him?
Just here to bust your chops because it looks like he is 40-15.

at what point in Michigan history are they trying to get back to that Harbaugh doesn't already have them at?
I agree, seems like he has them about where they were in their glory years

Strangely enough, this was nearly Les Miles' exact record from 2012-2016.
The only difference was Miles went 9-3 in 2015 because of a rainout cupcake game. And Miles started 2-2 and was fired. So 39-16.
Well, that and Miles had won a NC and went to another one.

I think it's time for us to step back and look at what Michigan, as a football program, really is. They haven't really won a National Title since the late 40's (don't give me that '97 bullshite, Nebraska would have blown the doors off them).
That said, he's doing an all-around decent job. There are only a handful of elite programs and Michigan certainly isn't one of them.
Michigan fans certainly think they are a blue blood.
The meltdowns this week have been delicious.

He'll never beat Ohio State. But who can Michigan go get that would do better?
There's like 5 top flight coaches in college football.

If their players are actually as good as their star ratings (big if) any number of coaches could do a better job.

Whether it's intentional, or by accident, ever since the retirement of Lloyd Carr, it seems that Michigan has decided to de-emphasize football and pursue academic snobbiness.
Carr was the last UM coach who really got what the OSU-UM rivalry was about and prepared for that game all year long.
Of course having John Cooper as OSU coach helped Carr get 6 of his 7 wins against Ohio State. Cooper was another one, just like Harbaugh, where The Game is just another game, a strategy that pretty much guarantees failure.

I can’t remember the last time Michigan beat OSU. They haven’t even sniffed victory in probably a decade
2011 they beat a Tressel-less Ohio State. Then you gotta go back to 2003.

UM fans sure love their history, but the best part of that history is over 50 years old.
Given their recent performance, I guess I understand why ancient history like the number of wins from then are so big for them.

Why would fans of other Big 10 schools want Michigan to get rid of Harbaugh?
Only reason I can think of is that they have zero confidence in Michigan’s ability to hire someone better.

Throw out that BS split title in 97 and Minnesota has a more recent natty.

he fricked up and brought a shitty oc in.
he'll have to move on from that guy.

We're not like SEC fans that root for the conference.
