The refs really seem to be taking this series over. Just from last night off the top of my head

24 second violation on shot that hit rim against Ind

Fouling the biggest star in the game out with a minute to go on a very questionable foul against the Heat.

Calling a travel on Wade (yeah, it was a travel) with 30 seconds to go that sealed the game THAT NEVER EVER GETS CALLED frickING EVER. lol

The ball that went off of Ray Allen and they called off of David West. They even looked at the replay. (I'm a Heat fan and that was off Allen)

Really shitty both ways IMO. In game one the foul they called on the wild 3 at the end of overtime THAT NEVER GETS CALLED frickING EVER was bad too.

He is terrible. Horrible calls last night. The Heat got more bad calls against them, but it wasn't intentional. Just horrible incompetence all around.

This was the worst call of the night. The ball clearly hit the rim. Pacers got cheated there.

I don't really care about stars and when fouls should or should not be called. But this type of foul has been consistantly called throughout the playoffs, so I don't feel sorry for LeWalk. He hip checked Hill. He should have thought about it before getting 5 other fouls.

Probably a make up call for the 24sec violation. But yeah he walked.

This was a complete waste of time to keep the call the same way.

I agree with everything above, but I think the foul on LBJ and traveling on Wade were blatant make up calls.

If the Pacers ended up losing because of that 24-second violation, the NBA would lose any credibility it still has. That was a game-changing call and luckily it didn't change the outcome. It's baffling that because of their own frick up, the refs have to balance it out on such a prominent stage.

I would say all the calls in total may have changed the outcome. LeBron had to play a lot with 5 fouls, at least two of which were bad calls. Wade AND Bosh also has 5 fouls. Lebron fouled out in a 4 point game with possession.

I think the poor officiating very likely may have changed the outcome of the game.

I don't much care as far as who won or lost last night as I feel there is about a 90% chance the Heat win the series as they turn it on when they want and I expect a beatdown now in game 5 and a ten point win to close it out in game 6, but I do believe the poor officiating may have changed the outcome last night when added to the Heat showing up with little focus or effort.

I'd love to see a Gif of West's reaction after they didn't overturn it. That was great.

It was an offensive foul on a screen where the defender was clearly beat anyway. You would have a hard time finding anyone get called for that in the playoffs. Much less with a minute to go, fouling out the best player in the league. In Jordan's day they probably would have called the guy for running into Jordan. lol

He did walk. But, it never gets called in any situation in the NBA. Why decide to do it with 30 seconds to go in a playoff game with the game on the line? To me it is just the officials taking over the game, and no one ever likes that. The best officiated games are the ones where you don't remember any of the calls. And I'm not just bitching because Miami lost, I thought it was just as bad against Indiana. Miami won game one and that shitty call happened.

IMO, that is the problem with the NBA. When it comes to officiating a game, stars should not get treated any different than the 7-8 spot reserves coming in.

And the NBA is worlds apart rule wise than when MJ played. We all know that.

I can understand that point of view. But it has never been that way. And my biggest point was that the foul they called on him almost never gets called on anyone in any situation. The fact that it was in that situation is just amplifies that. How often can you remember traveling being called in an NBA game? Regular Season? Pre Season? It doesn't get called. So, if you are going to call it in that situation you should always call it....JMO. Imagine if Indiana had the ball down 1 with 10 seconds to go. They inbound the ball, the player steps on the court before they receive the ball, the ref blows the whistle, and its Miami's ball. Now that happens half the time they inbound the ball in the NBA and it never gets called. This is the same shite IMO.

Do you watch any other team play besides your beloved Heatles? They call travelling a TON for moving the pivot foot too early and that's way less egregious than what Wade did.

Oddly enough, the fact that you complain about never seeing travelling calls actually reinforces the opinion of most on this board, that the stars get preferential treatment.

Disagree. LeBron is the biggest star in the game and I think they let him take more contact in general without calling a foul because he is so much bigger and stronger than people guarding him.

It was the same with Shaq back when he was the biggest star in the league. He got beat to death and the refs let it go.

Now if you want to talk Jordan back in the day, yes he got preferential treatment from about 1990 onward. I personally do not see it so much in today's NBA.
