I don't think they'll win a playoff game.

They've been a dink and dunk finesse team with no deep threat for years now. Their running game is totally unreliable and inconsistent.

They have no real weapons on offense, save Brady, and yet they are still somehow 10-3 with a good shot at finishing 13-3 or 12-4. As bad as they have looked at times this year, they aren't too far away from being 12-1 or 11-2. Then again...they also aren't far away from being 7-6 or 8-5 either.
This team was designed to lean on it's defense for the first half of the season while the new offense gelled. It went that way for the first couple of weeks, and then All-Pro after Pro-Bowler after All-Pro was injured on that side of the ball. The offense then started clicking, as Dobson started to really learn the offense and Danny Amendola came back, albiet not healthy. Losing Gronk is probably a fatal blow to this team, as Dobson is now the only deep threat that is capable of beating man coverage and a safety over the top. Amendola could be, but his muscle is detached from the bone.
In short, you are seeing Bill Belichick at his very best, as a GM and as a coach. I am willing to say no other team could take this many hits and keep on rolling to a first week bye. It'll be incredibly weird, as they will probably be the least talented team in the playoffs; however, nobody will want to play them in New England.

Lulz.
I can tell someone doesn't watch the Patriots play on a regular basis.

The Broncos game wouldn't have been close if they hadn't turned the ball ove 3 times in the 1st half. But the Pats might have lost too if Peyton wasn't playing in sub-20 degree weather
They've played poorly at times and excellent at times. Part of being young and injured. Hasnt helped that their #1 back in Ridley has recently had fumble issues and is trying to redeem himself. They have 3-4 good to serviceable RBs and a maturing WR corp. With Brady and Belicheck, they're easily a 8-5 or 9-4 team.
They won't make it far in the playoffs with their defensive injuries and losing Gronk. It's just too much.
