Harden definitely has more of the Mamba mentality than lebron does

Which player has displayed more of the Mamba Mentality?

Harden: who lost a game 6 & 7 to a Golden State team with no KD

Or

Lebron: Who beat the regular season all time winningest team in a 7 game series and had one of the top 2 memorable plays (chase down block in Iggy) of that series.

I don’t have a problem w what lebron said. He is grieving in his own way. It’s the people trying to defend lebron by saying he is grieving more than anyone else that is an utter joke.

Or you could listen to lebron himself

quote:

It started last December, when King James told The Mag, "I don't think I have an instinct like Kobe, where I just want to kill everybody."

Now come again with the lebron having mamba mentality

He's one of the longest tenured players in the league and met Kobe when he was 15. He's known him for 2 decades. He played against him and with him.

Kobe was an idol and a rival of Lebrons. They had just spoken on the phone that same Sunday morning WTF.

They played each other twice a year and never in the playoffs. They don’t have any kinda history of battles on the court.

Lebron said himself he doesn’t have the mamba mentality. How on earth that is a troll I have no idea. Even Kobe was taken aback that Lebron would come out and say that he did not posesss the mamba mentality.

Because NO ONE's game has ever changed in the span of a decade.

Again, keep being stupid, it lets others on this board realize things could be much worse

instinct is his natural mindset. his natural born demeanor. He admitted he does not have that mindset Ie he is not that kinda guy. Not mamba mentality.

My bad, boom. You're not trolling with a quote from Lebron 11 yrs ago before he won anything.

I think it's pretty obvious after the comeback against Warriors in the finals, and numerous other times, that he developed that killer instinct as his career progressed.

eta: Where was Harden's invite to Kobe's camp?

Yea we saw that instinct when he run off to form a super team bc he knew he wasn’t good enough. And we saw it when he went 1-8 v GSW w Durant.

”It's really difficult to go out there, play all 82 games, lead the league in minutes and have to do everything offensively. I mean, no one else had that weight on their shoulders in the league.”

Quotes from James Harden from less than 5 years ago

quote:

While no one is disputing the amount of pressure that Harden has on his shoulders, superstars make it work regardless of the weight of carrying a team on their backs. Kobe Bryant averaged 35.4 points per game in a season and was still named to All-Defensive First Team. LeBron James has twice finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting despite facing more pressure than any individual player in the league.

The actual mamba mentality has nothing to do with killing people. It’s about not making excuses for your failures and never getting outworked by your opponents.

Tbt I don’t know who got invited.

We know Kobe’s favorite player was harden. And that he would build a team around harden if he was GM. And that he said harden had ‘next’ after he left the league.

Sorry but you can’t put Lebron anywhere around the words competitive spirit after he run to Miami to team up with two other top 10 players to make a super team. You just can’t.

Kinda weird not to invite your favorite player to your invite only camp, no? Especially since it was a mix of players in prime and younger players.

He mentioned Kawhi and Kyrie being one of his favs too. They were invited. Interesting.

During a Q&A session with Lakers fans, Kobe was asked what current player he would start his team with and responded with James Harden of the Houston Rockets:

Kobe to Tyson Chandler: "He's [James Harden] going to be the next one after me.”

April 2018, Bryant spoke to USA TODAY Sports about that year’s MVP race, in which current Lakers superstar LeBron James finished second. Bryant’s comments: James [Harden] has done so much all season long. It’s got to be James. I really don’t understand the debate about picking somebody else. I don’t get it. Like, what the hell does this guy have to do? I mean for the last three years, the guy has been absolutely lights out, and now you still want to sit here and debate who should be MVP when he leads the league in scoring [30.4] his assists numbers [8.8] are off the charts, they have the best record in the league [65-17].
