I disagree. It's a good way to keep the regular season and conference championship games relevant. Now the way they determine the top 4 seeds is up for debate in my opinion.

Exactly, this process allows the best team to still get in and the most deserving team still get a bye. Those aren’t mutually exclusive.

However, at the end of the day, tough fricking shite. Winning your conference should mean something. Too bad so sad if you don’t get a bye. Big 10 and SEC schools are free to change conferences it’s so unfair.
