It's nothing against you, I just have issues with the media exploiting the fact that a lot of people not knowledgable about racing are watching right now.
If its talking about Doug's 45 day suspension, does it bother to explain that he wasn't found to have intentionally done anything?
I just can't read that crap because it will make my head explode. I had someone come up to me( who has been riding horses for over 60 years) and say that oneill is "shooting his horse up with milkshakes of steriods." the media is loving that they can turn a whole bunch of new viewers against horse racing.
Guess what? Big brown was on actual steriods when he won the derby/Preakness. Winstrol was legal. After he was taken off he "threw a shoe" to pull up in the Belmont.
He did also have a quarter crack, but ya gotta think the winstrol played some role.
Nothing personal, I just wish people would actually learn about stuff before eating up the bs they are fed.
As far as the owner goes, I don't really care how he makes his money.

I'm very jealous of you and r2r.
Was at the derby. I'm glad I took a picture of my win bet before I cashed it :)
And r2r owes me. He stood me up at the la derby

Aspy, got a question. Can you give me a ballpark figure on what a 4 y/o filly might be worth that's running in maiden special weight races at Evanbeline? I'm probably giving you way too little info, but thought I'd take a shot. $15000? $20000? More? Less?

Running in? Or going to win? Lots of horses start at msw, but finally have to drop down to maiden claiming. Totally depends on how she does.
I know of a horse with idiot connections who had slow works, bad breeding, and still started in state bred maiden special company. He ran dead last by a lot. What did they do? Throw him in an open special weight after that last place effort they started dropping him. He's still trying to get his first win at the maiden 5 level.
Also, 4 and still in special weight? She get a late start or has she been close a few times?
How's she bred?

They said he had much better energy
Last quarter in 26 and some on a gallop :D
Rags got really really washy, but he always does.
Paynter started off stiff and loosened up. Guyana star did not impress.
That's all I read

Why wouldn't they let him have cooked oats?

Because the security probably knows nothing about horses and think its a drug.
Rags too. I love michael matz. His bitchy quotes about the whole thing make me smile.
Btw...
MY I'LL HAVE ANOTHER HAT JUST CAME IN!!!
