These are two schools that used to be much more prominent football schools. Especially Georgia Tech. In 40 years will we look at USC like we look at Georgia Tech now?

Nah. USC just needs the right coach. See Carroll. They can own the West Coast and print a yearly playoff ticket.

Tulane? Outside of one year, since when has Tulane ever been relevant? This is the dumbest question on the MSB in quite a while. Lol

Feel like Nebraska or Michigan would’ve been a more fair comparison. Tulane? Nah

They had multiple SEC championships up until the 40s. They then deemphasized football in the 50s and slid quickly into mediocrity. Then Georgia tech does it around the mid to late 90s.

Georgia Tech has a national title more recently than Georgia.

Yes it’s been 70+ years that Tulane hasn’t been good

Ok? Army has 3 Nationals titles and 3 Heisman Trophy winners. Again, Tulane has NEVER been a USC type of program. Lol

Georgia Tech would have a much better football program if it wasn’t for their unbelievably stringent academic requirements.

I don't believe either is as bad as it used to be.

I like our coach, excited to see what he can do, is local so maybe he won't jump ship if he does well.
