Is this weekend's UFC PPV the worst card ever?

Montreal got screwed. Main Event and Co-Main lack star power and there's nothing anymore exciting below it.
Valentina doesn't really excite me anymore, Grasso fights are boring as shite, Aldo is 4 years past his prime. BSD fighting a nobody.
Is anyone looking forward to this? I will hate watch Belal but that's about it.

It's really, really bad. Should be a fight night

Pretty bad. I don’t hate Belal as much as everybody else but I don’t think $80 is worth just the main event. Don’t care about the chick fights, aldo is still fighting at a high level but isn’t a contender, and BSD fighting a last minute sub who is 0-2 in the ufc. Might just try to find a stream on this one

That’s why Joe Rogan even pulled out

I feel like the UFC’s recent success from Covid is starting to bite them on their arse.. seems like they’re too interested in building stars that they’ve gone away from setting up the fights that fans really want to see..
Compound that with the fact that the heavyweight and welterweight divisions are dead in the water with the belt situations, and you get the shitshow that they’re in now
Just my opinion though. I fully reserve the right to be wrong here

No cap, but Shayna Baszler walking out to Metallica’s Four Horsemen is an underrated entrance.

If it's bad now, UFC could be in trouble soon.
diat made a good point in another thread--a lot of the UFC's biggest names won't be around too much longer.
And they don't have an equal number of younger stars ready to replace them.
It could be kind of like how the stand-up comedy boom of the 1980s went bust in the early 1990s. Too many comedy clubs, not enough great comedians to work them.
Too many Fight Nights and Pay-Per-Views, not enough great fighters to sell them.
Anyone picking JDM to beat Belal? I think he has a decent chance. Feel like he has the speed advantage, can work the jab but also gets in there and throws a bunch of hard punches. On the other hand, I could also see Belal trying to smother JDM the whole time and winning a decision based on control time.

I think that is why Dana is looking to close a streaming deal with a service like Netflix or Amazon. Get that guaranteed money and not have to worry about PPV numbers or illegal streams.
I usually buy the PPV or go to a bar, but I'm going to pass on this one.
ETA: They need to start the fights earlier. I fell asleep a couple of times for this last round of fights. Definitely not paying and then falling asleep halfway through the main card.

They are already getting guaranteed money from ESPN on PPVs.. they are asking for more in their next deal. UFC will be more profitable than it's ever been no matter what happens with this next contract
