Fan steals HR ball

i think he was justified. i have no clue what they were thinking holding up the ball and celebrating the opposing team hitting a HR in a crucial situation. i have seen people saying he committed a felony by taking the ball from her, but its his sister in law so thats just a dumb road to go down

in an interview when asked to defend his actions, his response was "F*** the dodgers*

It was a relative of the person who caught it

Not like a stranger took the ball

That's her brother. She was going to throw it back. It was weird that they cheered.

Dude who threw it back is a douche.

No it wasn't justified you cry baby meathead tool.

She was pumped she caught a HR. Boo hoo that it was from the other team. Just b/c you are pissed doesn't give you the right to steal a ball and toss it back.

What kind of a fricking loser manchild are you?

Rule of the game is whoever catches the ball decides what happens. Give it to a kid, toss it back, keep it and blow it up on YouTube, whatever. But if you catch it that shite is yours. Period.

Throwing back the opposing teams homerun ball is the stupidest thing ever. No way I throw it back if I caught that

Now I have never caught one in a postseason game, but I caught a Kyle Seager one last season and threw that thing back without hesitation.

frick Kyle Seager and frick Seattle.

It was a dick move regardless. Let her throw it back if that's what she wants to do.

ETA - Dude also looked pretty fricked up. He's the worst kind of fan.

I don't buy that story at all. Seemed like a cover story to make all parties look better

Stay woke my friend

To be clear I'm not saying they aren't who they say they are. But I don't buy that she knew he was gonna throw it and that she was going to throw it back. That's a story to make him look less like an a-hole and her look less like a shitty fan

The sooner people realize that social media and twitter will be outraged about EVERRRRRRYTHING and just ignore it the better.

The media loves the outrage clickbait so they play it up.

Just remember, no matter what anyone says or does, there will be very vocal idiots 'outraged' on social media about it. The sooner society learns to tune it out, the better.

It's never acceptable to snatch something out of someone's hands like that.

This could easily be accurate.

It didn't look like she had ANY intentions of throwing it back. And he didn't ask. And he did it in a manner that legitimately made me want someone to kick him over the fence.

Sad part is there's a bunch of baseball purist out there that probably think that guys a hero. Same guys who were bitching that there was too much scoring last night

I can't wait for the Darren Rovell tweet telling everyone how much that ball could've auctioned for. Puig or some yuppie dodger fan would pay a pretty penny for that ball

Since the Dodgers lost the ball is worth almost nothing.

Had the Dodgers gone on to win the game and win the series, that ball would have been worth a lot.
