Three Top 10 CFB teams (TCU, Baylor, Aggy)

Both MLB teams in playoffs

Two NBA championship contenders (Rockets and Spurs) along with a pretty good Mavericks team

Coogs could go undefeated

But the pro football teams aren't very good and they're most important.

until Romo broke his clavicle the Boys were on an upswing, the Texans have one of the best players in the game, all 3 NBA teams made the postseason, the Stars should make it this year

I don't know about golden era but it sure looks that way

Since 2005, none of the above mentioned teams has won a title.

eta: Women's basketball doesn't count. Oops, forgot about the Spurs.

It's a golden era for Texas pro baseball.

Without the flagship football teams.. UT and the Cowboys no era can be golden. Sorry ags and Texans.
