But my point that you seem to not be able to debate cause you argue different points by saying nothing that has to in relation to what I've said like 5 times now is, at 8-2, ranked 8th in the nation, and 2 losses to the 2 best teams in the nation, to even talk about firing a coach like there is even a .00001% chance of it happening is just silly.

where in this WHOLE THREAD has anyone talked about firing him

you are fricking crazy if you dont think there are teams chomping at the bit to come coach this team

WTF???

Where in the world in my post did you somehow get that I think no one would come coach this team???

Weird.

you do realize we could be at 500 right now if it werent for our unreal talent

You do realize we're ranked 8th in the nation. That'd go over real well to fire a coach who just finished in the top 10. LET'S DO IT!!!

yes, that's why some are despondent, we can't fire him, but aren't optimistic with him either. I think most are hoping against hope Michigan hires him.

I agree, and this is my exact sentiment.

Finally a little logic and actually responding to points I actually made.

You think Ole Miss and Arkansas are guaranteed wins? Not with Miles running the show. I have a feeling we split, but it would not shock me if we lost against both.

NO way. But if we're talking about firing him today, i'm gonna use where we're ranked today to talk about it.

And we'd still look like morons if we fired Miles after going 9-3, just not as dumb as if we went 10-2, lol.

The season ain't over boss, if you think 10-2 is a foregone conclusion you're wrong. 8-4 just as likely. 9-3 seems most realistic, and that;s outside the top 10.

Two questions. Did the thread ever figure out what a "prime" program is and would any want Les?

Well everyone knows we're not firing him, and yet SFP brings it up like it's something we should really consider, and insinuates(sp?) that the ONLY reas we won't fire him is because we can't afford, but I'm the moron here.

LOLZ.

I'm okay with him. I think he could actually be okay. Some other big schools were actually after him late.

The rest is just a clusterfrick.

I do think we actually have some guys that can evaluate talent on our staff now - namely Ron Cooper.
