-Got destroyed by V-Tech on opening weekend.
-Bitch slapped 31-0 by Franchione lead Alabama
-Near blown game to Troy

al woods was a fricking 5 star recruit

classic case of a tarzan/jane player. can't make him mentally worth a shite. I'm impressed brick has even been able to get him to play mediocre this season

I never got that hire and assumed it was what you guy's political bullshite.

What he did as a BB coach was amazing, but its still college fricking baseball, its still a relatively small program. Winning 5 CWS does not make you qualified to run a huge AD.

you can't count things that Marcus Randall had a big hand in - either by playing or playing so badly that he gave way to Ricky Clausen

Maybe.

Chavis has a history of his defense's improving as the year goes on. I'd say ours has this year.

Next year Montgomery, Brockers, Davenport will be playing. Edwards, Aghayere, Downs will be more experienced. Plus any freshman that may be able to play.

Depth will be a nice luxury, since we have 0 this year.

Skip's biggest quote as AD was that Seimone Augustus was the most important/biggest recruit in the history of LSU sports. That summarizes his brilliance right there. They fricking let the guy SELL the baseball coaching position at LSU to the highest bidder on his fricking shitty summer baseball camp and after that debacle still made him AD.

i'm just saying pretending like we'd have the staff of the century if we added Weis to Les and Chavis is a joke.

I didn't say that. But Weis would be a good OC.

Chavis is a solid DC but his defenses will never again be anything special for those same reasons.

We'll see. His decline at Tennessee came at the same time their recruiting went downhill. I'm withholding judgment on him.

every single one of those dls were 4 or 5 star players. the fact that we suck at dl is absolutely unacceptable

So? Every single one of them was coached by Earl frickin' Lane too. That's 3-4 years of wasted life. And guys like Al Woods have proven to not be nearly what they were estimated to be.

I'm not defending Haley either.

we'll be solid, but i don't know how we ever expect to be a "great" defense with our safeties 30 yards deep the entire game let alone the 3rd and Chavis concerns
