i can see him looking at an nfl OC job, and then another HC job a few years later

weis belongs in the NFL, but there is no guarantee that he's even a good NFL coach with the track record of guys who left bill b sucking major fricking dick in the NFL

If adding ONE game has helped Miles then why haven't other teams been able to accomplish the same thing? Surely Ole Miss, Auburn, Arkansas and Tennessee should be able to do what LSU has done.
Could it be a combination of great recruiting and good coaching?
I bet Dinardo, Archer and Hallman couldn't get LSU to mulitple 10 win seasons. Even Saban couldn't do it could he?

Saban's on track to trump every one of miles's accomplishments this season.

saban can only build 1 program at a time

he didn't have a 12 game regular season like miles had

Wonder who wins the Weis sweepstakes then? He won't do Oakland, Tampa, or Cleveland for sure......
Detroit with Stafford? Maybe........
Washington.......doubt it.......
I hate Charlie Weis the head coach but I love him as a player caller.......It was a thing of beauty 2 years ago when he ran like 8 screens in a row to slow down the USC pass rush...

ONE more game? Both guys are great coaches. Both are great recruiters. Miles is very underappreciated and will be missed one day. Have we gotten so spoiled by success by both of these coaches that we cannot accept a possible 10 win season and another finish in the top 10?

Cable would kill him. Weis wouldn't work for Al anyway. now Jags...

Weis wouldn't be dumb enough to put himself in that mess.......

i think Saban would have to win the national title this year at Bama to turn the fringe positigers against Miles since Saban simply going to Bama was the main catalyst in their love for this loyal family man with the shitty hat.

sorry, Miles is NOT a great coach. not one bit, I don't see any indication of his coaching manner/philosophy that makes him a great coach.
not one bit.
not one bit.

yeah man, 1 more game. Saban won 10 games twice, and 9 once. throw him another rent a win in 04 (or not blow the coverage vs. Iowa, take your pick), and he'd have done it 3 times.

Archer went 10-1-1 in 1987 with shite load of talent, no reason to think he couldn't have done the same, with the much better talent and over all program we had in 2005-2007.
Dinardo took over a team that had 6 strait losing seasons and won 7 his first year, then 10-2, 9-3, note how he is playing 1 less game each year than we did in 2005 and 06, and 2 fewer than 07. If he can win 7 in 95, I see no reason to think he could not have won 11 in 2006.
Hallman was an assclown.

Do you honestly think Nick Saban would not have won at least 11 a year with the teams we had from 05-07? Look at him now. Its ok to support and defend Les, but don't do it with your head up your own arse.
