Ohtani is a Silver Slugger level hitter, a Gold Glove level outfielder, a Cy Young level pitcher, and one of the fastest players in the league.

On pure ability, he's the best player ever. Giving Babe the lifetime achievement award is nice, but he wasn't a better baseball player than Ohtani.

He is the most talented baseball player ever. He may never stack up the career accomplishments of others but as far as all around level of talent at his peak, he is the best
