For those who live in Houston, Katy is about to play for the State Championship on FSN If they win it will be their 4th straight State Championship title. Pretty sick especially in Texas

for anyone keeping up with the Texas games today.. Trinity beat Westlake in overtime 41-38 on a pass play where the Trinity receiver was actually out of bounds when he gained control of the ball.. sucks for Westlake..

Cy Creek lost in round 1
Cy Ridge lost to Klein in round 2
Side note, Klein lost to Abeline in the Semis. Would have been cool to have an all Houston area state championship

Don't have to be in Houston for this one. It comes on FSN Southwest at 7pm. I would watch it, but the Saints are on at the same time.

Damn, Cy Creek is really good for once and they fail in the playoffs. Sam Adams and Dan Neil aren't walking through that door again.

Ya I saw that. Sucks they dont have replay for the State championship. I dont understand why the commentators didnt say a word about it when they showed the replay 20 times

yea, i wondered the same thing.. it wouldnt really have lost the game for Trinity.. they still could have scored, or kicked a FG to tie it.. but it sucks to see a great game end on a bogus play..
eta - damn, just saw the replay again and the ref was literally 2 feet away looking right at it.. so close that he eventually tripped over the Trinity receiver..

Ya they lost to Leander who went 7-3 this year 39-35. They should have won that game but they probably would have lost in the next round to Klein Collins.

Forgot to add Cy Woods did really well. They lost to Stoney Point in the Quarter Finals. SP is who Cy Falls lost to in rd 1

they are playing Lake Travis at 6pm i believe.. that should be a great game also, but i think LT wins it..

Oh found it. Yes they did, they beat Denton 49-28. They do play Lake Travis who beat the shite out of Pearland in the semis

Lake Travis is pretty impressive also.. they went 1-19 during the '02 and '03 seasons.. and tonight are going for their 3rd state title in a row..
plus, they are about 10 minutes from Westlake, who just lost in the 5A final..
Katy nearly had two teams in the finals also..
another note, Jarret Lee's HS team, Brenhem, lost in the Divsion II 4A final earlier today..
