Is the MLB logo batter left handed or right handed?

I've alwyas viewed it as a lefty.

Plus, with the ball where it is, it annoys me that he is either taking the pitch or going to swing VERY late.

The rumor at one time was that it was modeled after Harmon Killebrew (RIP), who was a righty.

It is a lefty IMO. I would assume you are looking at the front of the batter, not his back. It wouldn't make sense to have a logo showing the back of a player.

That's what I always thought. I can see it as a righty, but my mind has a hard time visualizing it.

Besides, the whole logo bothers me anyway because he is either taking the pitch or going to swing laughably late.
