Pop has been washed since his wife died. He started really lashing out politically after that too

Spo is incredibly underrated, so is Carlisle and Mike Malone. All have consistently winning seasons without an “out of this world” roster.

Might be thibs with what he has gotten out of the Knicks roster. They have barely any talent at all.

See I've always thought Carlisle had an ego ,he dealt with players in an abrasive manner.

Maybe that was just rondo's. Hes legit insane I think

He’s considered one of the best coaches in the league. He’s pretty rated. Now is he the best? I personally think he is.

There was a perception that he was a schmuck in over his head when he took over the super team and that persists for some casual fans. Tony Kornheiser used to love saying “Coach Spo has got to go.” He’s well regarded by people with knowledge about the league.

Never understood that. I thought he did a very good job with those teams. He is an excellent coach.

Malone’s teams have been so fun to watch. He’s created a really amazing culture in Denver and his winning percentage has improved every year.

I have to agree with the OP on how consistently good Spo has been.

Not many people could stand to lose Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Ray Allen, etc and still field a good team. He has been consistent and is a damn good coach.

Considering how much of a narcissistic douchebag LeBron has proven to be, they should value Spo's coaching more.

I'm going to get blasted. But I'd actually say Rivers. He can manage the huge personalities. Has a pretty impressive record..

Everywhere Nate McMillian goes his teams get better. No better example than the befuddled and clueless Atlanta Hawks. In a month's time, he has given this team religion.

I'd say Rivers as well. Every team he coaches gets better

Regular season sure, but doc freaking sucks in the playoffs especially with the loaded teams he’s had. With the rosters he’s coached he probably should have 3-4 championships.

I think he is overrated actually. Before Jimmy Butler carried them to the finals, and not counting the LeBron years, he had won a total of 1 playoff series in his career. And he had some pretty good teams including what was still prime DWade.
