They are in the toughest conference. A one loss SEC team will be the highest ranked one loss team 9 times outta 10 whether it is bama or Georgia today.

What does this even mean?

Exactly what it says. 2019 bama has done nothing to be ranked as high as they were and still have a shot t the playoff after a loss.

So you are really saying that there is something wrong with lobbying for your team to have a shot at the playoffs? If a coach didn't do that for his team, then there would be something wrong with that coach

Not what I said at all.

Pretty ironic considering you clearly can't read.

Bama doesn’t get special treatment for being bama. They get it because they are in the SEC. AND It is well deserved.

No and no. The SEC isn't always head and shoulders abovce the rest. Bama got the benefit of the doubt even before Saban. They lobbied hard to get in the BCS/playoff in 2011 and 2017 and were doing so again before last Saturday "Auburn will be the best team we've played"- Saban
"Alabama is really making a statement by scoring this many points"- Gary Danielson

Come find me when any one loss SEC team doesn’t make the playoff. Unless there are 4 unbeaten sqauds, You gonna be waiting a long time.

Find one that isn't Bama that made it without winning their division. We'll be waiting even longer.

And you don't have an answer and know it, so you're just running your mouth with nonsense.

The other one loss SEC team to make the playoff was UGA in 2017. They played their way in by winning the SEC CG. You could argue that Auburn having to beat them twice was unfair, but it is what it is

Have a good day Bubba. I’ll be waiting for you to return when a one loss SEC team ever is behind a one loss sqaud from a subpar conference.

And I'll be waiting for that time anyone other than Bama makes it from the SEC without winning their division

UGA ahead of both Utah and OKLA right now with the worse loss of 3. Why, it’s bc they play in the SEC. LSU bama UGA all would get the same benefit. LSU Can lose sat and still be in. Why, they play in the SEC.

You are wrong here bubba. If LSU losses OU could slip past them with a rout of Baylor.

They beat more ranked teams than Utah for sure, and I believe Oklahoma as well. Oklahoma State beat more ranked teams than Bama in 2011 and Ohio State did likewise in 2017. I agree the SEC as a whole gets the benefit of the doubt usually, but not to the same extent as Bama. Every time that Bama loses (or even before), CBS and ESPN waste not one second trying to make an argument for them to still get a shot. No other team gets this advantage and you can't argue that it's non-consequential.

Ranked team doesn’t mean as much as you want it to. An SEC team with 4 losses in a tough schedule may be ranked behind a big 10 with a shite schedule with 3 losses. where was auburn ranked last week? Behind penn state, Wisconsin, Michigan. Etc etc. three schools they would handle.

We have no idea about that, I know that motivation isn't always the same for both teams in bowls, but the SEC doesn't always have a winning record in the postseason

neither game "proved" anything other than both teams were capable of beating the other

One game was a regular season game.

One was a playoff game.

Teams that beat the Super Bowl Champion in the regular season don't bitch and moan because they had to beat them when it counted and couldn't. Only LSU does that.
