you can think whatever you want. If Steve Smith and Isaac Bruce weren't first ballot guys with over 15,000 yards (both with multiple all-pro seasons), Evans is going to need to do a hell of a lot of work into his mid 30s and make several all-pro teams to even be considered. The chances of him doing that in the twilight of his career is pretty damn slim. Marvin Harrison was just shy of 15,000 career yards and was an 8-time all-pro player. He was not a first ballot player either. 15,000 yards is not going to do it for Evans to be a first ballot guy.

Evans needs to just hook up with Mahomes and the Chiefs to cement his HOF status.

Julio Jones went from an all-pro season (his 5th straight) at 30 to be completely washed at 31. He even played with Brady in 2022 and couldn't do anything. Now he's on a Super Bowl team and can't do anything. You have no idea when father time will tell Evans it's over.

He has 0 chance to go first ballot. He has a very small chance to get in at all. And this isn't coming from Saints homerism, go ask any non-louisiana based forum that discusses the NFL and you'll get the same answer. He's a very good WR but there are WRs better than him that haven't made it in yet

I’m not the one starting a thread asking a retarded question. There’s a zero percent chance Evans is first ballot.
Retarded and angry isn’t a good combo

You’re looking at a guy with a good possibility of 4-5 years playing at a high level. He hasn’t shown signs of slowing down. You act like this is Ruggs we’re talking about.

He's awesome - bacially their Marques Colston with better stats and longevity. I think he's got a real shot.

Over 11,000 yards, nearly 100TDs, almost 750 receptions. And some of you think he’s not worthy? Especially with 4-5 years of production incoming.

He has 1 second team all pro.

Honestly idk.

he has 11275 stats

if he plays 3 more years averages 1000 he’ll be at the 14000 range. Andre Johnson isn’t in has 14k 2x All Pro first team 2x All Pro 2nd Team

There are guys with better resumes still not in.

Definitely not a first ballot cut unless he plays 20 years at this level.

That just shows how stacked WRs have become and what a pass happy league we’ve become.

Wait, doesn't that kill your argument. He's averaging 1,100 yards a year and 9 touchdowns - in a pass happy league! That is not HOF numbers, first ballot anyways.

Look at who the first ballot WRs are. Evans isn’t on that level. Not even close. Recent history has guys who are clearly better than Evans not being first ballot.

1. Work on your reading comprehension. People have been telling you, repeatedly, what the reality is upper echelon recievers when it comes to HoF induction. None of us set the standards or allotment size of HoF classes.

2. Presenting an assumption as stated fact doesn't help your argument whatsoever.
