Everyone's crowning him after this last game. People forget he was mediocre in his last few starts between the last 2 years.

I really like the guy and hope he is a legit starter but we need to see more than these few games.

The next Matt Cassel . When has this guy not been surrounded by a shite load of talent? Ugh I can see the Skins going after him.

Well he's a backup so thats all you are gonna get. Also Kolb barely started half a season, a little early to call him a bust. Hopefully Flynn is more Schaub.

John Elway before 1995 and Tom Brady before 2007.

So Matt Flynn won't be Tom Brady or John Elway, well i guess he's worthless then.

Dunno about that....

Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, Robinson in Dallas pretty damn good

Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, Austin Collie pretty good

Roddy White, Julio Jones, Henry Douglas are good

Colston, Moore, Meachem, Henderson are good

Jennings, Nelson, Jones, and Driver are good but I don't think they are head and shoulders above anyone....

Well it is hard when you have Curtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky throwing to you.... They did combine for 199 catches on the year or 66% of all the receptions by Colts players....

I was thinking about the Kolb/Flynn thing earlier today. Kolb being unsuccessful this year may hurt his chances of landing a big deal.

He will probably still get an opportunity but i think the dollars will be less than what shuab/cassel/kolb have gotten.

Matt was on fire yesterday. Hopefully that will parlay itself into a starting gig.

it's funny how lsu people will stand up for flynn only because of where he went to college.

face it guys, he had an incredible game but he's likely the next matt cassel.

and for a qb who has done good with shite wr's? this guy name drew brees had a 7th rounder wr as his wr 1 and a stone handed lsu wr as his wr 2 when he first came to new orleans.

he did ok, since he got them to the NFCCG

The logical comparisons are going to be Kolb and Cassel.

There are things about Flynn I like better-- he's better about staying in the pocket and stepping up and into his throws than those guys, by a pretty good margin.

What I don't like, though, is most of what makes up an NFL quarterback. Arm strength, accuracy, identifying 1 on 1s, and most importantly, the ability to 'throw someone open' that separates a quality NFL starter from the other 99.999999% of humanity.
