Nope, after they beat the Sixers when AI went off in Game 1. It was the back-to-back championship, as Shaq and Kobe promised to make it a 3-peat (which they did). Really cool experience, even though I can't stand the Lakers and really hated Shaq at that time.....

Kevin Love's last three games:

29 and 16
39 and 17
42 and 10

Shooting 13 for 23 from behind the arc and about 54% overall. He also has an 11 to 5 assist to turnover ratio in those three games. He is playing lights out.

How great would John Stockton have been without Karl Malone??????

Love is doing it without another superstar on his team.

Rubio is doing damn good to be a rookie, IMO soon to be superstar.

Love was putting up big numbers last year without Rubio. Try again.

And comparing Rubio to a superstar the caliber of Karl Malone???

Your comprehension is comparable to your name. I was merely saying that Rubio is good enough to be considered an up an coming superstar. Not knocking Love or taking anything away from him. If he could start the break like Bill Walton, could be on his way to be the great white hope.

Just as great. How good would he have been if he would have been the point on the showtime Lakers?

Stockton is an all-time great, period.

Stockton just never wowed me. Maybe it was the short shorts.

Also I'm a fan of big scorers and Stockton never averaged over 20ppg in a season.

I don't think he averaged over 17ppg I'll have to look it up

Stockton did over a longer period of time but Love's season so far this year is more dominant than anything Stockton did. Even though Stockton was great. And for the purposes of this discussion, white means both your parents were white so J Kidd and Blake Griffin don't count. It doesn't matter what the actual color of their skin is

Statistically Stockton's 4th season is probable one of the 10 most dominant seasons ever

John Stockton is the all-time NBA leader in assists AND steals. Not bad for a white boy.
