I've sent money on Venmo before and put stupid descriptions too but "UCLA vs USC gambling" the morning after UCLA and USC played each other in football is an oddly specific "inside joke."

Saw a rumor on another board that the father of his OU backup sent these to the NCAA.
If that’s true, that is cold-blooded.

Its crazy.
The ONLY explanation he could give to me that I could buy was that they were playing Playstation NCAA CFB, which the older versions became a big thing momentarily during that time, and were friendly betting with each other on it.

Nobody would put “Sports Gambling-USC vs WSU”
Not because they are afraid to get caught but because that isn’t how a real person types That’s what a bot would do

That to me doesn’t sound realistic at all. An 18 or 19 year old isn’t going to freaking write “ Sports Gambling”

I think every Venmo transaction I’ve ever sent to a friend had some sort of joke description

Back in the mid 2000’s it was hammered into college players that if you bet on games the university would ghost you and your momma wouldn’t love you anymore.
