I think you'd have to go with Aaron Rogers.
League and Super Bowl MVP
Durable (except in 2013 when he broke his collar bone)
Arguably the best player at the most important position in football
And this (if true)

This is the 10th season Mike McCarthy has coached the Packers, and the 10th season Aaron Rodgers has played for Mike McCarthy. In all that time, from January 2006 to this weekend, Rodgers has never been fined by the team. He has never been late to a meeting, a practice, a game, an off-season workout. He has never missed any of those scheduled events without permission. He has never violated curfew either in training camp or the night before any of the 197 preseason, regular-season or postseason games since McCarthy took over. He has never mouthed off to anyone, or violated any team rule to the extent that he had to be fined.

He's not particularly fast.
for a guy as big as Gronk, he moves extremely well. A 4.6 40 at 6'6" 265 is pretty damn fast.

He's big, but there are a lot of big and athletic guys
again, there are not a lot of guys as big and strong as him that can move like he can. it's why he's such a nightmare to defend

He can catch a football... but that's not particularly difficult.
lol. and he has very very good hands. he's made some pretty spectacular catches
and not to mention, dude is strong as frick. He would be an incredible football player with or without Tom Brady as his QB.

I would say Tom Brady is the ideal football player. 4 Super Bowl wins.

Yea but being a complete douche bag brings him down a few notches.
Rodgers is 50x cooler.

I was at Bogie's the night Ridley brought Gronk into BR before the SuperBowl in the Dome. Gronk is awesome. He is not playing a character, he is just as he seems on TV. He is hilarious. Dancing all over the stage with his ridiculous moves having a good time. He was being basically smothered by sorority chicks who wanted to grind on him. He left with about 15 of the best looking girls in the place on a packed Thursday. I believe he has even said in an interview that partying at Bogie's was one of his best times. It would be awesome to be Gronk.
On top of that, he is a monster, you see this guy on TV and your like yeah that's a big dude. . But in person, holy shite, he is huge. He looked like a superhero or Direct TV commercial superhuman.
And that is why he is the ideal football player. He is the absolute #1 at his position, plays at a completely different level than his peers, seems to be a funny guy, he parties his arse off and he gets any girl he wants.

The fact that he goes to places like
Bogies instead of the "30000 dollar bottles of champagne room with a lame velvet rope" type establishments that most of these guys go to is awesome in its own right

Gronk is really good, but I don't know what separates him from others. Like, why can't other players be as good as he is? He's not particularly fast. And that he owned one suit for his first three seasons. Maybe even now.
He'd just take it on and off for travelling and pressers without getting it cleaned.
Apparently he hardly spends any money at all.

Did you see the catch he made last night where he landed out of bounds in the back of the end zone? He's unreal.
This play really opened my eyes. I knew he was a great athlete but the way he soared up and plucked the ball out of the air was amazing.

Foles and Gronk are the only Wildcats I'll ever cheer for as a Sun Devil. Gronk was just a pure beast and he seems like a great guy to be around. Foles almost committed to ASU but Erickson screwed that up. Scoobee looks like another good guy.

I can't disagree with this. His life seems pretty awesome.
Also seems like he'd be a blast to hang out with.

Its far easier to list what this dude cant do! Guard/center on offense and cb/safety on defense. Pretty aure he can play everywhere on ST's. Thats maybe 5 out of 33 spots on the field that we know he'd stink it up.
