I tend to think he is, he is incredibely efficient from everywhere on the floor and can rebound. I don't think Marcus Smart is far behind though.

Not sure what you're laughing at. He is surely the best scorer in college ball.

Saw him for that little bit against KU, but I can't wait to watch more of him this season.

May be true, but he is not the best all around player. He might be the most valuable to his team, best scorer and put up the best numbers, which is enough for the Naismith more than likely.

Parker / Wiggins / Randle already have the media on there side. 1 of those 3 will win POY.

McDermott is still a great college player and very efficient. Adam Morrison was a very efficient college player and he split the POY with JJ from Duke.

But they didnt go against the 3 freshman of Parker / Wiggins / Randle. All 3 play for high profiled teams. All 3 are better than McDermott. 1 of those 3 will win POY.

Oddly enough I think Parker and McDermott are similar players. They're similar size and both can shoot the ball really well along with good rebounding skills. I think McDermott is the most underated draft prospect there is too.

I wouldn't compare Parker to McDermott too much. There's a significant difference in athleticism there.

Best player doesn't equal best prospect

McDermott is awesome and has a leg up on all 3 of those guys for poy

In fact Parker may be the only one that is the best player in his own conference, and even that is debatable
