Is DePaul Basketball for real?

Even though Dave Lietao was suspended beginning of the year for NCAA violations, they are currently 3-0...soon to be 4-0. At the moment destroying Iowa (KenPom #41) at Iowa City. Their defense is pretty stout and can hit the shot from the outside. Watch out for the Blue Demons in the Big East.

I agree...Leitao is a piss poor coach, but this DePaul team looks awfully good at the moment. Forced Iowa in 19 TOs tonight.

Who knows how good Iowa really is.
But beating FDU, Chicago and Alcorn doesn’t impress.
It would be nice for them to get back to being a solid program. Making the Marq game relevant.

I am not a gambling man...so I don’t know what that means. But DePaul is ranked 77 in KenPom while Iowa at 41.

For what it's worth, Coach Ray was as nice a guy as you would ever want to meet.
His son was a pretty good guy, as well.
Pat Kennedy followed Joey Meyer, and he was a first class prick.

Sounds more like they just had a really good half. And is Iowa supposed to be good? They’ve been pretty average in Fran’s entire tenure.
