They are 4-9 and have nothing to play for. It's easy to play well when there is no pressure. Cam shite the bed when it mattered. 9 losses, let that sink in.

In 9 losses

56 comp%
241 yards per game
10 TDs
10 INTs
78 passer rating

If you're going to give him all the glory when they win, you need to recognize all the games he sucked in.

He played great today, although the falcons D looked like shite. Cam has a lot of work to do, but he has a ton of pure talent.

the Panthers arent a great team on offense or defense, but their screen game is probably the best in the league and its mostly because of Cam. RB screens, TE screens, FB screens, they all work for the Panthers.

I notice that both Luck and Griffin have been named team captains. I want Cam to step-up in the leadership department.

I don't think he wanted to step on any toes his Rookie year but Luck and Griffin show it can be done with positive results. He needs to assume leadership of his team in a way that he is comfortable with

His head is going to need to shrink first. His ego has gotten out of control. I understand some of his frustrations but he has handled it bad.

He's actually gotten better the past couple of weeks. They've mentioned him encouraging teammates thoroughout different games. Also has been trying to relax and have fun by doing stuff like wearing different teammates jersey during practice

I don't think he was mentally prepared for the scrutiny of the past few years. You can tell he wants to be like but trys too hard and then comes accross as a douche. Most people that know him personally like him but he just comes across poorly in front of the public

Yeah, Cam struggled early in the 1st half this season, but do you see what the title of this thread is?

I really do think it is finally clicking for him. Playing turnover free, solid football.

QBs always feel pressure in the NFL. Especially #1 overall picks who still have to prove they belong in the league.

Cam has the potential to be an unbelievable NFL QB if his work ethic and maturity don't prevent that from happening

After I hit submit I realized you'd probably take that like a defensive parent instead of a normal person

If he wants to be a Rogers, Manning, Brady, Brees level QB his work ethic doesn't need to be adequate or good - it needs to be absolutely exceptional... the kind of obsession that borders on mental illness
