Greens numbers are very comparable but other RBS need to get way ahead of him. Read some stats before you post HOF yay/nay threads

only thing i remember about Green was he cost me a Fantasy championship on the last night. i had that clown as the last player for both teams.
i needed 120 and a TD. got exactly that, then a 3 yard loss, to end at 117. they took him out the next play, with a few minutes left..

If and only if Fred Taylor and Tiki Barber get in.
There are about 30 RBs separating Fred Taylor and Tiki Barber from Ahman Green. Green is not the one on top.

Why did you post a link to rushing stats up to 2004? Barber, Jamal Lewis and Steven Jackson would all be on that list today.

That's my point, Webster.
If people want to call Ahman Green a Hall of Fame running back, then those two (and, guys like Warrick Dunn) need to be in and should be first ballot.

He certainly could have if his Texan career wasn't so awful.

2,000 more yards and 20 TD's and he would have a good chance to be in HOF.

He's a college football HOF'er, that's for sure.
Guy was a solid/serviceable NFL running back, but not NFL Hall of Fame worthy.

I am a Packer fan and no, just a servicable guy that the Packers haven't replaced yet.

He was more than serviceable, he was a good RB.
But, He shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame conversation.
