Hawkeyes also didn't play the schedule Michigan State did.

Wisconsin nor Iowa played MSU, UM or OSU

The only thing separating Sparty's schedule from Iowa's is Ohio State and its not Iowa's fault that the B1G didn't schedule them.
It took a miracle for Michigan State to not be 10-2 right now. The team they did lose to is one that Iowa controlled from start to finish.

Good stuff. I think MSU will thrash them. Not sure of their injury situation, but I thought some O line, RBs, and even a secondary guy or two have been back in the mix. But, the bottom line is I just think MSU can and will hit some big plays, while Iowa cannot play catchup.
There is no QB I would rather have than Cook other than an in rhythm JT Barrett.

It kind of evens out because of the way they got buttfricked on the Nebraska call.

Um and MSU played a ranked Oregon team and a Ranked Michigan team, but aside from that you're right
MSU controlled Nebraska for the first 57 minutes of the game too. They lost on a horrible call.
If that miracle didn't happen, Iowa would be getting prepared to take it dirty from OSU this weekend

This is going to be a very good game.

Both teams are severely overrated

Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Pitt are all as good as Oregon or Michigan.
Ohio State played its first impressive game of the season this weekend against a team whose QB lost his job to Iowa's QB. I would have to to Iowa over OSU

I'm pretty sure northwestern got shut out by michigan 38-0. Must have been a fluke i guess

How's Iowa going to move the ball once the MSU front 7 settles in and starts bottling up the run? I just don't see them running consistently like they have all year against MSU with the way McDowell and Evans are playing up front which is allowing their LB's to fly into open lanes. Who's the best pocket passer Iowa has played all year? Armstrong's performance against Iowa was simply laughable, and Cook was throwing dimes left and right against PSU.
The key to beating MSU is to get premier athletes into the slot and expose their safeties in 1-on-1 coverage in space. I haven't really seen anything from Iowa this year to think they will be able to do this. Unless Iowa forces some clutch turnovers I see this as a MSU win. The key reason teams like Nebraska and Michigan were able to keep up with MSU earlier this year was due to MSU's horrendous special teams play during that period (had to be the worst in the nation), but now their special teams have played MUCH better for several straight games. I wouldn't expect a sudden regression there.

Michigan would take those 3 teams to the woodshed, and did take NW to the shed already.
Oregon I haven't watched too much this year, so won't judge
You would have Iowa over OSU? OSU may do worse than 59-0 to Iowa if they had the chance. OSU is finally motivated (took the idiots long enough) and they would make Iowa quit

Iowa has 3 RBs that have hit 200 yard games this year and a typically strong Ferentz OL. I don't think anybody is bottling up their run.
I also think the 2 or 3 future NFL TEs on Iowa's roster should be able to matchup well with most safeties.

How is OSU finally motivated?

I kind of want Iowa to win so people will flip the frick out (nationally & on here). But, MSU will probably go further in the playoffs.

any comparison of their schedules?

Iowa is going to wipe the floor with MSU
