Just ordered some for my sons. They love the ball brothers and I'm hoping we can follow their lead. frick the haters. Raising champions.
I feel the same way about your kids as I do the Ball kids.
Lavar needs to be put down. Take "PearlJam" the Auburn fan out as well.

Sure. Here's a cookie for being a good dad.
I guess I really don't harbor the animus towards Levar Ball that others do. The guy says these outrageous things but its with a smile on his face. Guy's a bit of a jerk but he's not a bad person.
But people truly dislike this guy, to the point where they hope Lonzo fails. That's kind of messed up.

Does he realize that his deadpan delivery is gonna hurt any other potential endorsement prospects?
He seems to have zero charisma or enthusiasm (and this is his own produced sneaker).
19 years old, spent years practicing and playing to get taken high in the NBA draft and not a damn smile when showing off HIS shoes.

I think Lavar is a fool that is costing his son money. The right play was to use all of the publicity to maximize a shoe deal with an established company. Not start your own shoe company and hope it takes off.
The big companies called his bluff and his ego was too big to fold the hand.
ETA: I hope his son succeeds. However, Lavar is an arrogant arse and that's who seems to be calling the shots.

Definitely not for shoes. Players association wouldn't let that happen because of how much money players get from shoe deals. But NFL endorsements are different and league makes a shite ton of money from Nike for exclusive rights there.

Is this an Onion article? Seriously, I hope those are the prototypes he brought with him to Nike and Adidas.

I would pay pretty good money to see his pitch to Nike

If Lonzo turns out to be great, those companies will be calling him and he will dictate the terms if he wants to. Or he can continue to keep it all in house. Point is he has the choice at that point.
It's a risk, not denying that, but sometimes the risk pays off. Floyd Mayweather also took a risk promoting himself when everyone told him he should just stay with Top Rank. Now look what he's done, a 5'8'' welterweight has made more money than any boxer in history.
Mayweather's decision was an act of imagination, but that's how you do things that haven't been done before. People are quick to say "you can't do that" until someone does it and succeeds.

The entire "big baller brand" sounds like some retarded shite a 7 year old came up with.
Agreed and I don't care for the triple B either. Just think the logo on the actual shoe ain't bad.
