Indiana football…Butler basketball…Gonzaga basketball…

Who else? The latter two had some staying power, but this sudden rise by Indiana (even if they lose this one) is unheard of. This would be like if that Dak-led Miss State team rolled into the inaugural CFP.

If they win the title this year i imagine it could change the entire trajectory of this program. Easier for alum to justify giving money to someone who’s won a title

Did IU have boosters just decide to buy a team? I ask because I don’t know. At least Tech was vocal about it. Texas Tech also has a decent football history, albeit not as a natty contender.

The interesting thing is they are doing this with the basketball program being down.
All the money will completely flip at IU
This will completely change the culture of Indiana athletics

Very true. Butler and Gonzaga aren’t sharing the spotlight with FBS football teams on campus.
