There’s been hilarious talk around Lake Charles that McNeese could go CUSA to take La Tech’s place when/if they move to the SunBelt. People in McNeese athletics want them to move up to FBS. Are you kidding me?

Meh... Ohio State, Texas and ND did make the playoff. Miami would have if they didnt blow conference games at the end of the year and A&M would have too despite the loss to ND.
This is truly what irks me about CFB today is all anyone cares about is the playoff and it only hurts the fans to lose out on premium early season out of conference matchups. Basically everything done today in CFB is against the fans interest and we are the schmucks paying for it.

Ohio State can afford an early loss to Texas. They only need to worry about getting by Penn State and Michigan in conference play as no other team in that league has as much talent as they do. If they can win one or both of those games, they are in the CFP.
