Miami probably has the most consistent single side of the ball with their offensive talent and playcalling. But they’ve had a lot of injuries in their secondary that’s probably gonna bite them.
Georgia has the most balanced team in that both offense and defense are pretty good, but neither are elite.
LSU on paper probably has the most potential of any team.
But any of these teams could get bounced early in a playoff or miss it altogether.

Right this minute I’ll say Miami
However, they have to go to North Carolina next week.
LOL. If they are the best team, going to North Carolina should not be a worry.

I'll actually agree with High C - it's a weird place to play and they are among the most schizophrenic teams in college football this year. They've got some dudes - Thurman and Shipp on offense, Watson and Jaoude on defense (for a point of reference, they are 31st in team composite talent right along with Kentucky, Texas Tech, SMU, Minnesota, Iowa, etc.). That Clemson game was illustrative: they dominated Clemson for long stretches of that game until the lightening break, then they looked like they forgot how to play football. They had a decent three game stretch going there where they played us pretty salty for long stretches of the game, beat Pitt at Pitt, beat a decent Duke team in Durham, then of course turn around and lose to an awful Syracuse team at home. Edwards is awful on one series then a world beater the next. Belichick and Petrino can find the holes in a defense with a little preparation.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if they give Miami a game, and that's to say nothing of Miami's quality; Carolina is just a strange, quasi-dangerous team (against both themselves and other teams) this year. Would be more likely if it were a sleepy noon kickoff instead of an ABC primetime game, but nonetheless.

North Carolina is fricking awful and if they give Miami fits, that means Miami is a tier one team when you factor in the FSU game

Not sure there's a case for a few teams but this reminds me of the 2007 season hopefully this means we're going to have a wild playoff this year

I mean you can make that argument for the NFL, MLB, and honestly most of the pro sports
