Didn't really expect this thread to go past 1 page but I guess I underestimated the power of the arsehurt Gump

How about you? When did you meet him?
quote:Jimmies aren't rustled, just pointing out to you a little hypocrisy. I know you're a man of integrity (even though I've never met you! Ha!) so I figured you would appreciate it and rectify the situation.
Don't let blzr rustle your Jimmies as bad as Cam Newton evidently has.

A lot of jimmies have been rustled today, good work family.

Looking at their public personas, Cam reminds me of Alex Rodriguez: immense physical ability and talent and completely socially inept. Not comfortable with himself thus not comfortable with others. Would not be surprised to read that Cam had bought a picture of himself and mounted it in his foyer.

I had the chance to meet Cam during the 2010 summer at the old Speakeasy bar. He was a pretty cool guy. Or cool enough to talk to my obnoxious drunk self.
That's cool. I met Jordan Jefferson once, summer 2011.
No, he wasn't kicking my face in, but he was a dick.

Now we have to meet people to be able to have an opinion? The world will never be the same. It's a fact that if you're in the public eye from being on that TV tube thing...then you're subject for ridicule.

quote:Yes, I'm tearing up as I type. That's why I'm always in the Alabama game threads rooting against them, right? That's why I sport a team logo showing the team Alabama plays that week, right? That's why I'm always bashing Alabama coaches and player's abilities, right? I could care less about what Alabama is doing right now. They're winning, good for them. I don't live vicariously through a team I cheer for, and I don't hate Alabama with the red hot intensity of a thousand suns, either.
And that clearly bothers you.
Sure, I joke on them every now and then. And point out hypocrisy that everyone displays at times.
But as you can tell, the hate that fills the mind of some Alabama fans is second to none.
And notice, I bolded "some" because not all are like that and I like to acknowledge that group of fans. You know, the ones that love Alabama more than they hate Auburn, and likewise (for Auburn fans).

No, I'm still going to stick with it being much more hilarious about the butthurt that surrounds Alabama fans when Cam Newton is mentioned. It'll still be the same 50 years from now. And you guys will tell your kids about how much of a thug piece of shite Cam Newton was, EVEN WHILE none of you have ever met him. That's butthurt.
Auburn fans love every second of it, and laugh at it, FWIW.
And not every Alabama fan is like this, but to the ones that are, LOL.
Coming from the dude that started a thread about a single tweet from Brad Smelley because he said something anti-Auburn

This is fun. I haven't been part of a good ole Bama-Auburn hate thread in a while. Guess things slow down when it gets to the point where Auburn is such an afterthought. Good Lord yall were just historically epically incredibly miserable this year. Ha, good times.
