I hate the Yankees but it’s all Boone. Guy has tanked that entire franchise.

I think the players should have learned the basics: You catch the ball, you throw the ball, you hit the ball somewhere in the minor leagues

With a few exceptions they love position players with a few loud tools that are pretty stupid. They have a clear type if you look at the acquisitions the last 4-5 years

They got guys like Didi, LeMahieu, Aaron Hicks in the late 2010s for very little cost and you’d think they would have learned something from it

I watch a decent amount of Yankees games just because I enjoy Jomboy/Jakes melts on Talkin Yanks, but in all seriousness they are even more of an undisciplined team this year. They don’t run bases well, God Awful defense, and if they aren’t hitting it over the fence then they just won’t hit that day. They would be Os/Braves level bad without Judge and Fried this year
