If the thunder keep losing, do the rockets have a shot at trading for paul george?

People saying Lebron to houston this summer is a possibility, but I actually don't want him (how insane is that to even day that). First off, frick kevin durant. It wasn't even, "If you can't beat em, join me". It was" I'm too much of a pussy to risk beating them and failing, so I'll just join them to make losing impossible." I'm embarrassed he even played for UT. I feel like beating golden state by adding lebron would be stooping to their level.

Paul George is more of a pure wing, more complimentary to d'antoni's system, doesn't need to handle the ball as much, a great defender, and is shooting an insane .422 from 3 this season. The thunder have lost 4 straight and if it doesn't look like their big 3 experiment will yield a title he may make it know he will not resign.

Ryno is 6-10 and some how neither rebound or play defense. His 20m a year contract is a goddamn abomination.

Eric gordon's defense is also mediocre at best and is having his worst year from 3p% but his points are up sue to injuries of others and has a much more reasonable contract, so looks like a much mor valuable trade piece.

I'm not a basketball expert but do you guys think this trade could be possible? What would the rockets have to give up. Ryno + gordon + picks? Do we even have any picks to work with?

Also what;s Paul George like as a teammate? Has he eve bitched about not getting the ball enough or been drama in general? Haven't followed him much other than his numbers

they get the flak bc they won a ring, lost in the last minute of game 7 after going 73-9, and then added KD. Houston hasn't been nearly that close, much less won one recently. Bron coming to Houston to chase rings on Harden's team would be looked at differently. KD has a ring now, but does anyone really think it's not Steph's team????

If OKC is going to give up a 1 year rental and pretty much give up on the season, you're going to have to do better than that.

You're just giving them dead weight (Ryno) that keeps them in the tax IIRC, you're going to give up more than Ryno and more like Capela, Ariza, picks or needing to send those guys out so some kind of talent can come back in.

Nobody is going to take Ryno unless you attach a 1st.

Comes to the Lakers, or stays in OKC. Those are the options

yep it would be sad. I’d rather not even win than have to make a blatantly stacked team to do it. That’s not what sports/competition is about.
