And this is of course proof that Jordan is the best and not that the 90s NBA was weak. Right.

All-time or this season? One take is fair as he might be fringe top 10 at this point against guys half his age that he can't out athletic. The other is asinine, no one counts the Wizards against MJ and he was younger than Lebron when he played there.

What a tough decision after noticing the team barely diminished in his absence

Cmon Tide. Everyone knows that supporting cast was trash. They went from the #2 seed and 57 wins in 93 to the #3 seed and 55 wins the next season. They also lost in Game 7 in the quarterfinals to the eventual runner-ups that were a fingernail away from winning the ship. He honestly needed the respite to recharge after dragging such an inferior supporting cast to all of those titles.

“6 straight NBA titles = 2nd round loss”

Lebron fanboy logic

6 in 8 years, correct. Jordan's peak is unrivaled. Let's be honest though he played in 7 of the 8 playoffs in those years and lost in the second round in the one they didn't win a championship. The 'Jordan wasn't in game shape argument' also doesn't hold water when everyone accepted he was back and looked like the Jordan of old when he was dropping damn near 50 and looked like prime Jordan against the Hornets.

Nope, 17 games isn’t a season much less 2 and counting a season he didn’t play in while also using his absence from that season against him is right up you guys’ alley. Utter rubbish

So were his playoff numbers better in 95 or 96? He was absolutely rusty when he came back, he was inefficient the first few weeks and you could tell was trying to get back in game shape. He was Jordan in those playoffs though, he put up numbers that are pretty baseline to what he did in those 7 playoffs where they won 6 championships. 4th most PPG in that run, 3rd most RPG, 5th most APG, 2nd most SPG, Most BPG, 5th most FGA/G, 3rd highest FG%. They just had no answer for Grant and Shaq down low and were destroyed on the boards. Which is why the Bulls went and got the Worm that off-season to help control the boards.

Stop deflecting, even if it’s 1 title equating it to a second round loss is purposely idiotic and again dishonestly using the season he missed against him while adding it to his resume is more of the same.

Why are you so offended with stats and data? MJ is still the GOAT, I say that knowing that the things I bring up MJ fanboys like to act like didn't happen. He was perfect in the finals, but his career was not perfect.

The 93-94 Bulls did not win a championship, but they were a championship contender and proved that by taking the Eastern conference champs to the brink. The same Knicks team that were a tipped block shot away from winning a championship. His supporting cast was damn talented.

The 94-95 Bulls were not as good, and Jordan was rusty when he came back. He was not rusty in the playoffs and his playoff stats and where they rank show that. They lost because they had a weakness that the Magic exposed and the Rockets would have too had they gotten through the Magic. They addressed that flaw and went on to win the next three with Jordan as the star.

All of these things statements are true and backed by the data. It's ok to look at the data and see that the lore you accepted may have some revisionist history baked in.

I’m not offended, your “data” was false, your argument dishonest. You keep deflecting and pretending copy pasting numbers, something a 7 year old can do, and deflecting will distract from the facts. It doesn’t

The floor is yours, explain how the stats are false. Either stop putting your head in the sand and deflecting or PROVE YOUR ASSERTIONS.
