Really wanted SF in 2013. Wanted no part of SEA. The falcons shredded the Niners defense in 2012.

Right. But it wasn’t until the end of that game that Manning’s arm started to shrivel up. He made some big throws. His arm wasn’t dead until 40 some passes later.

2014 Manning was toast and should’ve retired. 2015 Manning was terrible but luckily, he didn’t retire.

Yes. That was the best of the Manning Denver teams, IMO. I still don't know how Baltimore went up there and beat them.

Baltimore was basically playing madden. “This 95 speed guy is gonna run a fly, this 93 speed guy is gonna run a fly, and this 96 speed guy will also run one.” Denver never adjusted. Stubborn playcalling. Champ had no business playing bump and run coverage iirc.

The main thing that stood out to me from that game was how dead Peyton Manning's arm looked. It was a glimpse into what was to come
He threw for 55 touchdowns a year later...

ETA: I see someone else covered that.

Doubtful. Niners were the best team in football from 2011-2013, just caught a couple of really bad breaks.
