Steven Gerrard scored that many last year alone in the EPL. Lampard scored 3 times as many goals as Iniesta did last year. He passes well but not any better than the two I just listed.
He is an amazing player but lets get fricking real here. Best Center mid in the world is absolutely fricking ridiculous.
Oh, and Buffon is not the best keeper in the world imo. I stand by that.

Iniesta doesn't need to score goals and most teams don't look for goals from their center mids, especially when your team is as loaded as Barcelona is. Of course Lampard is going to score goals, all he fricking does it shoot if he gets a glimpse of the goal. The dude is a joke.

I hope he doesn't think that. He's saying he thinks Gerard is better which is debatable but I think Iniesta is the best center mid and I don't think Lampard is close to either.

I'd probably take Xavi over Iniesta, but it is really splitting hairs. It's almost not fair for other teams having to face a midfield of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi (who basically roams all over the place from forward to midfield)

I don't think Lampard is better than Gerrard. Gerrard is the best center mid in the world. But there are lots of people who will tell you that Lampard is nearly as good. And to say Andres Iniesta is the best center mid in the world is stupid imo. Stupid.

ETA: To answer the question: of course he would. It's borderline retarded to think otherwise.
fwiw, I valuate Xavi higher than Iniesta. Hell, Iniesta doesnt even have a consistent spot for Barca, but that has more to do with the focus on three fowards.
