If Lebron and Wade play in the Olympics the Heat will be completely burnt out(no pun intended) coming in to next year. For Lebron's sake hopefully he gets hurt and the Heat really tank and fire Spolstra and trade Wade.

Honestly, I think he'll be better with the pressure off. He'll have his ring and can enjoy having proven he's capable. It won't be the scary, unattainable goal. I surely would be terrified to play a LeBron who isn't still grasping for his ring and/or legacy (for people who make shitty excuses).

Why would the latter events happen, if the former happened?

It's been shown that once you get older you can pretty much coast the regular season and turn it up in the playoffs (Celtics every year, Spurs were planning it but they dominated the regular season anyway).

Because a Heat team where Lebron misses 20 games and Wade missed 30 is a 7th or 8th seed at best. ly That will give Riley the perfect excuse to reload with a team that fits together.

If they win a ring this year, why would he fire Spo because his best most important player got hurt? And why would Riley trade Wade who's been the face of the franchise for a decade, and the only reason LeBron and Bosh are even in Miami to begin with. These things are never going to happen if Miami wins the championship this season.

I'm thinking the same thing. Trading Wade would improve the team IMO. Just dont see how they would do it. Would be really awkward.
