Why does the NFL have to kick off all of their international games so early? Are they afraid to have a game kick off at 6/7pm local time in Germany/England/Italy?

TNF is low quality typically

They should just do a better job of scheduling it but don’t give a shite because it’s going to get eyes regardless

Gotcha. You and I watch sports differently.

I watch because professional development interests me. I’m just as interested in seeing how the high draft picks perform, as I am with seeing how the perennial bench players perform.

I don’t need a marquee matchup to capture my interest. All games have examples of noteworthy performances.

I think because it's a fourth timeslot for a Sunday in America. As much as they hate to admit it, there's still only one major region in the world where they are considered a major sport.

Yesterday was a little boring. And it seems too many Sundays this season have had that feel. I think the 3:25 marquee game has suffered the most. I mean Rams-Niners? I think they are trying to fill too many days/time slots and once you hit the byes, the schedule suffers.

The salary cap that the vets have fought for and the structure for many of the veteran contracts have forced teams to be increasingly young across the board. This has resulted in fewer experienced teams, resulting in worse overall performances.

Additionally, the reduced contact and practices during the offseason and throughout the season really show up.

I keep trying to get into the NFL but I can’t stand watching it. Not because of the woke political bullshite but because I think the actual gameplay is boring as shite

I'll continue to bang the drum that TNF games should be reserved for teams coming off the bye

They get back to back 10 days rest.
