trying to give it a chance with nothing else on. Are there normally his many wrecks during a race? This is ridiculous.

95% of the nascar race doesnt matter. every race pretty much ends in a green-white-checker or ends under caution.

if you want to watch some real racing get into formula 1. They just started back today

Not really accurate. Crashes that happen during the race matter. At non-superspeedway races, strategy during the race matters. Who ultimately wins may not be decided until the end, but there are things that happen throughout the race that matter.

At this track, yeah.

All kinds of wreck-filled races.

Harvick pitting when he did before the competition caution helped position him for the win. Hamlin blowing a right front with 8 to ago was kinda critical too.

Trust me when I say this - that was one of the best Brickyard races in recent memory. That race is usually a snoozefest, that one had some actual passing and lead changes.

Today's race was boring as frick especially when you have two dominant drivers and everyone else. I mean for fricks sake, Kyle Busch can't even become a story any longer

While I am a huge F1 fan (been to 48 GPs) if you want to see real racing I suggest Formula 2 and MotoGP. If you want to see real racing in F1 for the last few years you have to look at the midpack. This year could have an incredible contest for the WCC and WDC if you just took Mercedes out of the mix.

Fingers crossed the new regs next year produce more epic battles like in the past.

Hamilton can eat shite for essentially taking Albon out of the race today. So sick of Mercedes. But yes, hopefully the new regs fix the issue. I want to see williams able to post respectable results once again and i wish nothing but the best for Haas. At least Gene has a good Nascar team though.

If you want to see races where no one passes for the lead, watch F1. There have been F1 races in the past where there were literally ZERO passes for ANY position on the track. Those cars are amazing, but too often the race is over after the first corner.

If you like wrecks and hard racing, give rallycross a try.

600 HP
0-60 in 1.9 seconds
Tracks are a mix of pavement and dirt or gravel
Race doesn't stop due to rain
"Joker lap" is an alternate section of the track that must be taken once and only once during each race. It's up to the driver to decide when to take it.
Races are short, no pit stops, no caution flags.

I've seen people finish races on 3 or even 2 wheels after their axles were broken.

I usually find F1 very boring. It's mostly just hot lapping at the front no one ever passes. If it weren't for the 5 second penalties today it would have been more of the same. I do admit I enjoyed the McLaren turning the fastest lap at the end to get the P3.

I much rather watch IndyCar road races than F1. Don't care that they aren't the top tier. The races are fun to watch with passing at the front.
