I made Arkansas State a destination school. Stayed in the top 25 for seasons after I left for FAU.

I just finished the 60 year dynasty with my first LSU team. Took 7 years.

Colorado is fun. I also used to take a non P5, like New Mexico, and tear it up and take them into the Big 12 or PAC

This wasn't as big a problem in the last two years of the games life and probably favored the offense more so than the defense. If you threw a pic over the middle it was probably because that guy was in good position to begin with.

How in the hell. Since I get to a point where I win every game I don't see how that would keep me interested long enough to play that long.

Usually I'll build a team up and play about 5 seasons then chunk it.

Washington State is a fun one if you're looking for a semi rebuild. I have a 9 year dynasty with them

2006 NCAA with Desmond Howard on the cover was the best. I remember you could play with all-time greats on each time, no one could stop 99 overall OJ Simpson

I spent far too much time playing RFTH that season when it debuted.

As for a team, I always like Temple and USF for the sake of an NFL stadium. Vandy for the SEC, Iowa State and their tornado siren in the Big12.

I simulate most of the season, week by week. The recruiting part keeps me going, seeing as how I'm really into it in real life. To go that long sounds crazy, but doing 8 seasons a year give or take, isn't bad. Takes maybe 3+ hours a season completely simulating, doing recruiting each week.

I do play games often but usually just top 25 teams.

That's how I would play too. I would simulate the regular season, play the conf. championship and bowl game, then focus on recruiting.

I would keep this going for decades. The best part was seeing your former school continue to dominate for a few seasons after you left for another one.

this is how I would do it as well. I'd usually play the in-state rivalry game or whatever to kick some arse and hurt my recruiting opposition in state.

this way of playing was the best way to ensure that you couldn't just take a team of scrubs and win every game. you had to actually build up a stacked team to go undefeated in a simulated environment.

the best things EA Sports did to the series were the conference realignment function and the coaching carousel. with realignment, you could completely remake every conference, which i usually did based strictly on geography. and with the carousel, you couldn't just go to whatever school you wanted, you could only choose from the schools that fired their coaches. it made for some interesting decisions if you were ready to move up a level but didn't necessarily see the job that you wanted.

The Jackrabbits of South Dakota St. Import them and get rid of a non-contender like Texas A&M.
