Many don't remember but Monday Night Football on September 10. 2001 featured the New York Giants played at the Denver Broncos.

I was at the Pennsylvania Hotel at the offices of Sally Jessie Raphael waiting to go see Michael Jackson across the street at Madison Square Garden for his 30th Anniversary Concert.

Ed McCaffrey broke his leg in that game.

Well, for the 20th Anniversary, the NFL scheduled the Broncos at New York Giants.
..

Didn't want that to be overlooked! I thought that was pretty cool.

Opening weekend in 2001 I was on the sideline at the St. Louis Rams at the Philadelphia Eagles.

I will always remember 9/11 was a Tuesday because of the McCaffery leg break

I remember a story of a guy who worked in the WTC and his office was in a location that he likely would have been trapped or killed by the attack on 9/11, however, he stayed up late watching that game and overslept resulting in him being late for work and saving his life.

That story was on the minute by minute breakdown of 9-11. It’s a show that is nothing but footage compiled from people on the streets. He’s in a clip talking about how MNF and oversleeping saved his life
